The measurements of the mailbox are 14.5quot;W x11.5quot;H x 6quot;D. Interior dimensions are 14”Wx 11”Hx 4 3/4”deep. The interior of the mailbox is metal with an outer solid wood face.
This is a made to order item. PLEASE EXPECT 4-5 WEEKS for the item to ship.
The mailbox is mounted by drilling two round head screws into an exterior wall. The mailbox is then hung on these screws by keyholes located on the top back of the mailbox. Screws are included.
The wood is finished with one coat of marine grade epoxy and then 2 coats of clear exterior grade spar urethane finish. I highly recommended mounting the mailbox to a wall that has shelter from the sun.
A lock can be added to the mailbox. Here is the listing for adding a lock: etsy.com/listing/290962273/add-a-lock
If you would like a lock, this listing should be added to your cart at check out. The lock listing explains how the lock works.
The mailbox can be laser etched with names, numbers or graphics. Etching is $20 extra. I make the numbers/letters about 2 1/2” tall but I can also make them as large as you need (3”,4”,5” tall). Typically the laser burns slightly making the etching darker depending on the wood type but if not I will apply a dark stain in the etching so it stands out.
The mailbox cover is available in stainless steel or powder coated galvanized steel in black, red, bronze or white.
This item is subject to customs duty fees and import taxes when shipped outside the US.
The image shown is not the actual mailbox that you will receive for this listing.
